Study at EUIT

ABOUT EUIT

From 1983 EUIT has been affilliated to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and teaches university nursing studies. In the 1993-94 academic year, the University was also the first school in Catalonia to offer studies in Occupational Therapy.

In 2012 EUIT became part of the Sant Llàtzer Teaching Foundation (Fundació Docència Sant Llàtzer).

EUIT is found in the heart of Terrassa just next to Vallparadís Park, one of the biggest urban parks in Catalonia with an area of 395,500 m2 (roughly 4,200 sq ft). EUIT is 35 km (22 miles) from Barcelona and is well communicated by public transport. Trains can be caught to the Vallparadís-Universitat stop using the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) network and to l’Estació de Terrassa using the Red Nacional de Ferrocarriles Españoles (RENFE). Buses from the urban network can also be used.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES AND WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS

EUIT currently offers undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Occupational Therapy.

Our Nursing degree takes place in both the morning or afternoon and Occupational Therapy runs in the mornings.

Work Experience Placements are planned in modules, meaning that they do not conflict with EUIT teaching periods. On some of the Work Experience Placements it will not be possible to guarantee the continuation of either a morning or afternoon schedule.
