The Virtual Reality 360° project, launched in 2021, is delivered as part of the Health Education course, taught to third-year students of the Occupational Therapy degree, and is led by Professor Dr. Elisabet Capdevila.
This initiative involves the creation of educational proposals and materials using immersive technology (360° videos or Virtual Reality) to address the occupational needs of specific individuals or groups. To this end, students receive theoretical and practical training in health education models, analyse the needs of their assigned centre or service, and co-create audiovisual materials and intervention proposals tailored to those needs.
As a final outcome, each group formally presents their project and the materials developed, allowing for the assessment of both the competencies acquired by students and the impact of the interventions on the service users involved.
