The Spanish State Research Agency (AEI) has published the 2026 call for FPU (Formación de Profesorado Universitario) fellowships, within the framework of the Spanish State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research (PEICTI) 2024-2027. These fellowships are aimed at providing research training through doctoral programmes leading to the PhD degree, as well as the acquisition of university teaching skills.
Within the framework of this call, the research project Enriched Stroke Rehabilitation through Music and Leisure Activities (RehArt), led by Professor Jennifer Grau-Sánchez and funded by Generación de Conocimiento 2023 (PID2023-149792OA-I00), offers the possibility of hosting an FPU fellowship application, allowing the PhD thesis to be developed across different research lines. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to apply biomedical technologies, quantitative methods and computational approaches to understand and improve recovery after stroke. The selected candidate will receive support in preparing a competitive application for the Spanish FPU 2026 Predoctoral Fellowship programme.
